OTHER OPTIONS
Shake It Up:
~ Make your smoothie more like a banana chocolate shake by replacing the milk with vanilla ice cream.
~ For a little extra chocolate kick, use 1-2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
~ This variation is also lovely when dressed up with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
Go with Frozen Bananas:
~ Instead of adding the ice cubes, simply increase the number of bananas in the recipe to 3 and freeze them for 2 hours (or up to overnight) before making your smoothies.
Replace Peanut Butter:
~ For children or adults who are allergic to peanut butter, just replace the peanut butter with cashew butter, almond butter, or another nut butter of your choice.
