This healthy Chocolate and Peanut-Butter Banana Smoothie is a thick, creamy texture and tons of chocolate-peanut butter flavor. It can be a good Pre/Post Workout meal as well. Let's start making this healthy smoothie.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Bananas fresh or frozen
  • 2 Cups Milk (Almond Milk)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey OR to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Butter OR to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Chocolate powder (like Horlicks/Bon Vita or anyother)
  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa powder optional, but gives a nice taste
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Chocolate chips to garnish

OPTIONAL ADD-INS:

  • 1 Tbsp Flax or Hemp seeds - for added nutrition
  • Chocolate Sauce can be dairy-free for drizzling inside the glass

Instructions
 

  • Blend all ingredients well.
  • Taste the sweetness and chocolate flavor as per your taste. (Adjust if needed).
  • Add ice cubes and blend again.
  • Pour into a tall glass and sprinkle some cocoa powder to garnish OR top with whipped cream.

    Notes

    This recipe serves 1 glass generously.  Best when fresh, though leftovers could be frozen into popsicles!
    #TIP for thick & creamy smoothie: Bananas, should be frozen for a cold and creamy smoothie.
    #Note for Vegans: You can use any dairy-free alternative instead of whole milk like almond milk or coconut milk or soya milk etc..
    # Optional ADD-ONS:  Flax or Hemp seeds -  for added nutrition, Chocolate/Caramel Sauce - for extra flavor.
